Finally took the plunge and got a mirrorless DSLR. I've been shooting professionally now for over 15 years. While mirrorless cameras have been around for some time I didn't feel the tech or image quality had passed what I was shooting with until recently. Canon, which is what I've always shot with, also takes their time to develop new cameras. Looking forward to using the R6 on my upcoming shoots and seeing first hand how it compares.
Logo I designed for the new business, Brindle Ink. Give the page a follow so you can see our progress as we work towards opening.
Beef. It's what's for dinner.
This cuts of meat chart I designed for Shriver Meats, located in Maryland. The printed sign will measure 24"x36" and be displayed in their market for customers to see the specific cuts they offer. Entire design was done in Adobe Illustrator and is all vector art.
Happy to share that Ben Weiss, Brandon Housley, and myself are starting a new business. Brindle Ink, a screen printing business soon to be opening in Fort Atkinson, WI. We each bring unique backgrounds and skill sets to our newest venture. Ben has extensive experience in screen printing. Brandon has helped establish multiple successful businesses in town and has deep roots to the community. My creative skills and graphic design background make screen printing a natural fit. We’re in the process of revitalizing a space on Madison Ave, moving equipment, building our website and designing a logo. So while we've got a lot of work to do, we plan on doing some test runs soon and hope to be open by early this summer.

Very excited to share the new website I made for C.C. Moo LLC adaptive clothing using video and photos I captured at their workshop over the winter. www.ccmooclothing.com
Their handmade clothing provide an ease and convenience to all families with infants and toddlers who desire a unique way to minimize the hassle of G-tube feedings. Happy to have been working with this great mother and daughter duo for 5+ years now as they continue to grow their important business.
Winter is always a mixed bag creatively for me. I try to do a bit more fish decoy carving, like these trout I just finished up. I've been working on a new website for my friends at C.C. Moo medically adaptive clothing. I'm also designing a poster for a butcher shop in Maryland and doing weekly photoshoots for a construction company.
Portrait work will be picking back up soon now that the snow is gone. My event and show bookings obviously continue to be affected by the pandemic but I'm hopeful for the second half of the year to be back to "normal". Last but certainly not least I have some big news in the works that I hope to be able to officially share soon.
Check out the new website I built for Connect Techs LLC. Specialists in the installation of tv wall mounts, security alarms, cameras, door access, data cabling, and home theaters.
Finally got my hands on this book, A Century of Farm Photos, from the AAEA- The Ag Communicators Network! I played a small part in its making by helping with some original design direction and gathering historical dairy photos. Some of my photography is also featured in it. The extremely talented Jim Patrico (editor, photographer) and Donovan Harris (Art Director) did an excellent job on the book.
Had a great afternoon at C.C. Moo LLC adaptive clothing. Getting some photos and video clips for a project we’ll be working on.
I'm happy to share I've been accepted to serve a three year term as an Ambassador for the Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce.
I've lived in Fort for almost 13 years now. It's where I have my home and have grown my business. I've found the Fort Chamber to be a great organization that fosters community, tourism, events, and aides in the growth of businesses. I've made many wonderful connections through the Chamber, both personally and professionally. Now I'm excited to get more involved and bring some creative ideas to the table as we work to navigate out of the challenges from the past year.
Thanks to High Rev Graphics LLC, I'm now restocked on shirts in my Etsy shop. Including my new design of the elusive Northern Pikealope. Only the savviest and most "hydrated" of fishermen have even caught glimpses of this unique fish. Found only in the murky backwaters of rivers here in the Midwest.
Extremely honored for my fish decoys to get a shoutout by Joe Cermele this morning on Facebook and Instagram. Joe is a tremendous voice in the fishing world. He’s the Senior Fishing Editor for MeatEater, former fishing editor for Field & Stream and has written several books. He's also the co-host of the MeatEater's BENT podcast with Miles Nolte.
I tend to post more of my photography and design work here but if your interested in my fish decoy work, give me a follow on Instagram @ryan_ebert_art
Happy New Year! CEO Loki is very happy to announce the hiring of his new brother Cyrus as regional manager. He's only a few months old and recently moved here from Houston but already is a great part of the team.
Happy New Years Eve!
We're all ready to turn the page on this year, especially us small business's owners. Being a freelance artist is never easy and always a bit of roller coaster. Certainly with even greater highs and lows this past year. I feel confident knowing that if my business can weather 2020, it can make it through anything.
The year wasn't without some bright moments. I found new ways to donate creative items to local youth when things were shut down. Lots of great portrait sessions and more intimate weddings. I gained more long term design clients. My videography and real estate work continues to grow. Had new adventures of selling handmade items and family craft kits through Etsy, the Fort Farmers Market and at This & That at The Mill. I was featured on News 3 Now / Channel 3000 and had a couple mentions in the Daily Jefferson County Union newspaper. Was honored to receive the Coolest Thing Made in Fort award for my fishing decoys from the Fort Atkinson Area Chamber of Commerce. Also was honored with a honorable mention in ag photography from AAEA- The Ag Communicators Network.
A sincere thank you to every individual, business, and association that continues to rely on me for their creative needs year after year. That trust and support is not taken for granted. Cheers to a brighter future in 2021!

With snow finally on the ground we're into my favorite season. Things don't really slow down but they do shift gears. Working on some personal projects like this one, building websites, and carving fish decoys. Still doing photography work too, like todays commercial building shoots throughout southern Wisconsin and some occasional winter portrait sessions.
My photography greeting cards are now available in my Etsy store! Three different pack options of landscapes, wildlife, and lake sturgeons. www.etsy.com/shop/RyanEbertArt
Having some fun with editing. I think this photo nicely sums up the challenges couples and us photographers had to face this year.
Looking for a fun family holiday project or stocking stuffer for the young creative? I've just added these paintable cedar cutouts and ornaments to my Etsy store, etsy.com/shop/ryanebertart. You'll also find them for sale at This & That at The Mill in Genesee Depot.
A few favorites from my session with the Chisholm family.
