Was a beautiful day for drive up to Arkdale (Castle Rock Lake) to take photos for a new AirBnB listing. If it could only just stay these temps with no bugs or humidity. Even if it did, winter would probably still be my favorite season.
Been a great week of commercial video shoots, real estate photography, and working on some logo designs for small businesses. Even managed to sneak in a little decoy carving time. This foldable cart has been worth it's weight in gold. Especially on gear heavy video shoots.

I've got a half dozen shows on the books for this year. Currently in the six week home stretch of my prepping for the National Fish Decoy Association show in Perham, MN. It's a favorite for me as it's always great to see my fellow fish decoy carvers from around the country.

What an amazing evening last night at the Magic On Janesville Avenue event! Thanks to everyone who braved the weather and came out to see Santa and support the many great non-profits groups. All the photos have been posted to the gallery and you will have been emailed the link. Over half the proceeds from the photos will go to supporting next years holiday lights and making it even better for the community to enjoy. Happy Holidays!

Not my usual portrait work but as a hunter myself I understand how important it is to preserve the memories of a successful harvest. So when Mitch asked if I'd capture a few shots of his awesome drop tine buck, I didn't hesitate to grab my camera. Nothing like Wisconsin whitetail hunting, deer camps, spending time in the woods, putting food in the freezer, and maybe, if you're lucky like Mitch, getting a giant buck too.

Another perfect fall day for photos with the wonderful Norris family. We got in a nice workout hiking to the top of Heiliger Huegel Ski hill but it was worth it with the best views one could ask for.
